Menopause Midstream Urine Premium Test Device
This product is currently not available
Are you over 45 years of age? Have you been feeling persistently tired, irritable with unexplained mood swings, or even feeling depressed. Perhaps you have been having sudden hot flushes and sweating or perhaps your periods have become irregular. Then this test could be for you.
By the time most women have reached their late 40's the supply of eggs remaining in the ovaries has fallen to low numbers.
Follicle Stimulating Hormone (F.S.H.) is the main hormone involved in producing mature eggs but the eggs that now remain are unable to respond as well to F.S.H. as they did when they were younger. F.S.H. is always present in the body, but the pituitary gland produces more of the F.S.H. hormone when the ovaries start failing to release eggs in an attempt to get your ovaries to respond and cause the remaining eggs to mature.

Remove the Ru25 Plus FSH Menopause test device from its protective pouch just before use.

1. Remove the test device from the protective pouch.
2. Remove the pink plastic cap to expose the absorbent tip.
3. Hold the thumb grip of the test device so that the absorbent tip is pointing downwards.
4. Urinate on the absorbent tip until it is thoroughly wet *(about five seconds).
5. Recap with the pink top, lay the device on a flat service with the window facing up.
Wait for the test result.
6. Read results at 5 minutes. Do not read after 10 minutes.
* Alternatively, you may urinate into a clean, dry cup or container,
then dip the absorbent tip into the urine for about five seconds.
Note:
The first morning urine contains the highest level of FSH and is the best for testing.
Urine collected during the day will contain lower levels of FSH and may cause false negatives.
Do not drink excess fluids after midnight before testing in the morning.
- Store at room temperature 15-30o C (59-86o F)
- For in-vitro diagnostic use only. Not for internal use.
- Keep away from children.
- Each test should be used only once. Discard after use.
How to read the result
Keep the test device on a flat surface for 5 minutes and read the result. There should be a pink line (control line) that appears in the small square control window to tell you that (1) the test is valid and (2) the test is completed.
Negative (-) ![]()
If the color intensity of the test line is less than that of the control line, the result is negative. A negative result indicates FSH hormone levels below 25 mIU/ml. If you get a negative test result and are experiencing menopausal symptoms consult with your doctor.
Positive (+) ![]()
If the color intensity of the test line is stronger than that of the control line, the result is positive. A positive test indicates FSH hormone levels at or above 25 mIU/ml. If you get a positive test result, you should retest because the levels of FSH may change during your menstrual cycle. Testing should be repeated after 5 to 7 days.
If the color intensity of both lines is equivalent or similar, a second test should be performed 5 to 7 days after the first test to finalize the result.

(example shown here is positive)
Two positive test results indicate that you may be in a stage of menopause and should consult with your doctor.
