This is an FDA Cleared test providing an Instant Glucose Result plus a self-collected, laboratory-tested hemoglobin A1c.

This screening test combines fasting glucose and HbA1c to check current and long-term glucose with instant results.

A patient can be assessed as:

Normal - Glucose and HbA1c tests are in the normal range

Pre-Diabetic - Either the glucose or HbA1c test are slifgly out of the normal range indicating medium diabetes risk

Diabetic - Glucose and/or HbA1c are significantly out of the normal range indicating a high diabetes risk.

Patients are instructed to discuss results and other risk factors for diabetes with their doctor regardless of testing outcome.
