The Comprehensive Drinking Water Analysis is a test used to determine the presence of certain metals in your water. It also ascertains the pH level of the water in your homes to check for acidic water. The latter may be a cause of metals escaping into the water and may also be a result of pipe corrosion. Additionally, the test verifies the amount of Fluoride in water. Here are the elements covered by this exam:
Primary Water Metals
Antimony Arsenic Beryllium
Copper Lead Thallium
Uranium Barium Cadmium
Chromium Mercury Nickel
Selenium
Secondary Water Metals
Aluminum
Iron
Manganese
Zinc
Others: Fluoride and PH Level
So why test your water for these substances? First, the presence of these metals may cause harm to your body. Studies suggest that if an elevated level of toxic elements (e.g. lead) is found in the body, you can be at risk for certain health conditions.
The test is especially recommended to homes with old piping systems. It is also suggested in municipal areas where the plumbing systems may be contaminated. Most importantly, the exam aims to ensure that only clean water is delivered to homes and establishments.
CLIA Accredited Laboratory (CLIA ID: 14D0646470, Medical Care Provider No: 148453) doing this test, claims to have done millions of Comprehensive Drinking Water Analysis Test (since 1972).

Here are the facts -
"41% of U.S. wells may be contaminated with coliform bacteria." --- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
"40% of municipal water suppliers have violated federal standards and nearly 50 million Americans are using improperly treated or contaminated water." --- Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC)
"People of low immunity (HIV or undergoing cancer therapy) need to be aware of dangers of tap water." --- U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
There is no such thing as pure water. Although some areas may have clean water, nearly all of it that comes in our homes and offices contain contaminants. Even in the absence of nearby pollution-causing activities, water can still be infected.
Many microbes, organic carbon compounds, dissolved minerals, and metals find their way in our drinking water. When the levels of these elements increase, they may affect our household routines and may even bring detrimental changes to our health.
There are many evidences that can point to impurities in the water. Obvious problems like staining of laundry and plumbing fixtures are two common examples. Objectionable odor and taste of the water may also suggest excessive levels of contaminants in the water. Although many of the impurities present no danger to human health, water must still be inspected for any increase in these elements. The only way to ensure safety of your drinking water is to have a periodic laboratory analysis done.
With the availability of modern water analysis, you can now easily test your water supply of impurities. This Comprehensive Test from Doctor's Data will check for the presence of different kinds of metal in your water. Furthermore, it will determine the Fluoride and pH levels in the water as well. Through such system, you are able to verify the levels of some metals in your drinking water. Hence, even before health problems start to surface, the home or establishment owner can already do the necessary changes in the plumbing system to keep water potable enough for people to consume.
The Technology behind the Test
The Comprehensive Drinking Water Analysis is supported by state-of-the-art technology. A team of systems analysts, engineers, chemists and architects specialized in the lab design to ensure that everything is well-suited for water analysis.
The lab is also equipped with a clean room technology to remove all contaminants that may alter the results. It has air purification systems to keep unfiltered air out of the laboratory area. The lab is also outfitted with features that guarantee accurate results.
With this kind of technology on hand, the examination results are without doubt credible enough to meet your standards.
Together with the collection kit are instructions on how to obtain water samples in your home or office. It also includes detailed information on how to send the samples back to the lab. Here is a basic water sampling procedure for homeowners:
1. Request a sample collection kit where you can store some drinking water supply.
2. Carefully read the directions inside the kit since the procedure can vary from one home to another.
3. Remove home water screens or filter systems.
4. Heat the tip of the faucet with a torch or lighter until it gets hot.
5. For about 5 minutes, let the cold water run in your faucet.
6. Lift the bottle cap without touching the insides of the container. Fill the bottle with water and leave about a half-inch for air.
7. Place the bottle inside the Styrofoam container.
8. Completely fill out the info sheet and send it back to the laboratory. Make sure to include the legal description, time, and the sampling date.
9. Wait for the water test interpretation or result in about 2 weeks.
International buyers are responsible for shipping the specimens back to the lab in the United States. TestCountry is not responsible for failed tests due to delays and/or miscollection of specimens.
The Chain of Custody Form is valid for one year after the date of purchase.
