    • How To Use With The Standard Trial 1% Salt Sample Provided:

    This test is carried out by initially adding 10 drops of the salt solution to the test tube. After which, add 1 drop of the activator solution and swirl the test tube to mix the solutions. Once mixed, add the indicator solution drop by drop slowly into the test tube while taking note of the number of drops that has been added. As soon as the solution turns from yellow to light brown, you should stop adding the indicator solution. Refer to the chart that is included in the original package to read the result. This trial test can be repeated if desired by following the same procedures.

    How To Use With Urine Sample Collected:

    This test requires the collection of "fresh" urine sample. Transfer 10 drops of the urine sample to the test tube with the pipette provided, and one drop of the activator solution to the urine. Only use the pipette provided to ensure non-contamination of the sample. Swirl to mix the solution and then add the indicator solution drop by drop slowly into the test tube while taking note of the number of drops that has been added. When the solution changes color from yellow to light brown, top adding the indicator solution immediately and take note of the number of drops used.
