The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology declares that allergies affect 1 out of 4 people. The first step to better allergy care is to know the cause of your allergy symptoms. Our allergy tests help you find out the cause of your allergy.
At TestCountry we offer two Allergy tests:
MyAllergyTest: MyAllergyTest is the one and only home allergy test to help you find the cause. It meets the strictest requirements of today's laboratories in terms of accuracy and reliability. This test measures your body's response to the ten most common allergens with only one small sample. Those allergens are:
Pollens (Timothy Grass, Short Ragweed, Bermuda Grass, Mountain Cedar), Mold (Alternaria), Foods (Milk, Egg White, Wheat), Other (Cat, House Dust Mite).
AllergenAlert Home Test: Allergen Alert is a new testing device that can help assess the indoor air quality in your home by detecting and identifying the levels of the most common allergens. This test measures your body's response to the eight most common allergens with only one small sample. Those allergens are:

Allergy or an allergic reaction is a hypersensitivity reaction of body's immune system to an otherwise harmless allergen (any substance that can cause an allergy). Symptoms can vary greatly in intensity and duration. There are many methods of testing one's susceptibility to a particular allergen. Amongst these, skin tests are the most common types of allergy tests. They often involve placing or injecting a small amount of suspected allergy-causing substances on the skin and the skin is examined closely for signs of an inflammation reaction which may include swelling and redness of the site. Using these tests, a number of allergens can be tested within a short span of time. In elimination type tests, an elimination diet, i.e. the diet in which the suspected foods are avoided, is given for several weeks and then gradually re-introduced to observe any signs of an allergic reaction. Blood tests, on the other hand, measure the amount of specific allergen antibodies in the blood.
